1 bag Sweet Potatoes (aprox. 6)
2 cans Chicken Broth
1 cup Half & Half or Light Cream
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Cloves
Sugar to taste
Peel & slice sweet potatoes. Place Sweet Potatoes and Chicken Broth in Crockpot. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Transfer tender Sweet Potatoes and Chicken Broth into blender or food processer and blend. Return mixture to crockpot, add remaining indredients. Cover and cook on high additional 2 hours.
*This soup is pretty much fool proof. All ingredients can be adjusted to your personal tastes. I tend to use very generous teaspoons of the spices and little to know sugar. I also only blend my potatoes for a few seconds because I prefer a thicker soup. (Blend till smooth and add more cream for a thinner creamier version.)
I want to be a crafter I really do! I follow all these amazing craft blogs and just stare in awe! I read all the instructions and look at all the cute pictures and think...I could do that, I want to do that, I love that! Then... I do nothing! So my new years resolution is to do one cool craft a month...starting this Month! For the first while I will probably choose a cool craft to copy and then maybe one day I'll develop the creative genious these other crafters have and make up some ideas on my own! So of course I will blog my journey, post pictures and see if I can make it as a crafter! Wish me luck! Maybe I should start a craft group one day a month at my house. Plan the craft, get the supplies....woah...I'm getting ahead of myself here! (Yeah pretty much when I decide to do something I do it 110% can you tell! Ha-ha!)
